In celebration of United Way Miami’s 100th Anniversary, join notable Miami women leaders as we take a forward-thinking exploration of how Miami will evolve over the next century. We live, work and play in an ever-changing city. As this community continues to develop, the need to make an impact will become greater. As a group we will explore how together we can make the next 100 years of Miami stronger than ever.
Listen to and engage with our guest panelists:
Lissette Calderon, Founder and CEO of Neology Life
Jane Gilbert, Chief Heat Officer of Miami-Dade County
Melissa Medina, President and CEO of eMerge Americas
Kerry-Ann Royes, President and CEO of YWCA South Florida
Moderated by Karyl Argamasilla, Partner at Bilzin Sumberg
We believe each powerful step gets us closer to building a united South Florida where everyone thrives. The Community Justice Challenge works to foster personal reflection, encourage social responsibility, and motivate participants to learn together, find and act on ways to address these issues. From reading articles, to listening to podcasts, to engaging in conversations about social issues that impact all of us, the YWCA Community Justice Challenge creates dedicated time and space over 21 days for participants to discover how injustice impact our community, connect with one another, and identify ways to dismantle inequities and other forms of discrimination.
