YWCA South Florida Community Partnerships

On behalf of women, girls and families, we salute our sponsors and partners with heartfelt thanks. YWCA South Florida works with corporations, foundations, organizations and government institutions to help us further our mission of eliminating racism and empowering women all over the South Florida. The Batchelor Foundation
The Batchelor Foundation funds our Early Childhood Education program which provides affordable, high-quality early childhood education to more than 250 children, ages 0-5 years, emphasizing social, physical, emotional, and cognitive skills and development.

Broward County Kidspace
Broward County Kidspace is a secure, nurturing environment with trained, qualified YWCA staff to supervise children ages 6 months – 13 years while their parent/legal guardian attend a domestic violence-related court proceeding or filing.

CareerSource South Florida
Career Source South Florida assists employers and job seekers with employment services, labor market information, and provide training for economically disadvantaged adults, youth, dislocated workers, individuals transitioning from welfare to work, and refugees.

The Children’s Trust
The Children’s Trust is the largest funder of after-school, youth enrichment, and summer camp programs in Miami-Dade County, The Children’s Trust also offers a wide range of resources for pregnancy and parenting, health insurance access, quality early learning, health and nutrition, services for children with special needs and youth employment.

The Clubhouse Network
The Clubhouse Network is an international community of 100 Clubhouses located in 18 countries, providing youth with life-changing opportunities for 25 years.

Music Access Fellowship
The Music Access Fellowship supports our music studios and Clubhouse and hopes to inspire and train young people in the artistic, practical and conceptual skills of music theory, performance, sound manipulation and broadcasting. This Fellowship is being incubated by Radical Partners with leadership from philanthropist and music enthusiast Daniel Lewis.

Peacock Foundation
Peacock Foundation funds our Early Childhood Educational Centers which provides high-quality education to 375 children of low-income families and prepares them for kindergarten.

Miami-Dade County
Miami-Dade County funds our Court Care program, Early Childhood Education program, and Economic Development program.

Miami Dolphins
Created in November 2017 by Owner Stephen Ross and Dolphins players, the Football Unites program grants provide funds for South Florida-based groups to strengthen and expand their impact around community engagement, education and justice reform.

United Way of Miami-Dade
United Way of Miami-Dade shares our collective vision for what is possible and is a partner in our Early Education. Their work in education, financial stability and health, is improving the odds for children and families, today and for generations to come.

Miami Diaper Bank
Many of the families YWCA South Florida serves are low income and have faced job cuts due to the economic shutdowns in 2020. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Miami Diaper Bank did not hesitate to support our 350+ families with young children with multiple donations of diapers. We are grateful for their support!
