Enriching the Afterschool Experience

YWCA South Florida believes it is our responsibility to open the world and build tolerance and acceptance for our students beyond their zip code.

Funded by United Way Miami and The Children’s Trust, our Afterschool Global Education Program is an opportunity for students ages 4-12 to use current events to connect them to what is going on around their neighborhoods and the world around them.

The Teen Clubhouse

The YWCA South Florida Teen Clubhouse is open to middle and high school students and provides a creative, safe, and free out-of-school learning environment where young people from underserved communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop new skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology.

We are part of the Clubhouse Network which is an international community of 100 Clubhouses located in 18 countries, providing youth with life-changing opportunities for 25 years.

The clubhouse at YWCA offers a unique opportunity for students to learn 21st-century technology skills with our new esports lab to teach students coding, game development, and graphic design. The clubhouse also includes a professional-grade music studio.
