YWCA South Florida Provides Engaging Learning Communities That Equip Future Leaders

YWCA South Florida Programs

During these times, we know you are looking for ways to engage your students and provide for your household. As we learn about new opportunities we will share them with you.

After-School Programming

YWCA South Florida believes it is our responsibility to open the world and build tolerance and acceptance for our students beyond their zip code.

Funded by United Way of Miami-Dade, the Global Education Program is an opportunity for students ages 4-12 to use current events to connect them to what is going on around their neighborhoods and the world around them.

Our after-school enrichment program funded in part by the Children’s Trust and other partners provide:

  • Art
  • Community Service Projects
  • Financial Literacy
  • Global Education
  • Homework Assistance
  • Literacy Development
  • Nutrition
  • Physical Fitness
  • Social and Emotional Learning

The Teen Clubhouse

The YWCA South Florida Teen Clubhouse is open to middle and high school students and provides a creative, safe, and free out-of-school learning environment where young people from underserved communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop new skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology.

We are part of the Clubhouse Network which is an international community of 100 Clubhouses located in 18 countries, providing youth with life-changing opportunities for 25 years.

The clubhouse at YWCA offers a unique opportunity for students to learn 21st-century technology skills with our new esports lab to teach students coding, game development, and graphic design. The clubhouse also includes a professional-grade music studio.
