YWCA South Florida Provides Engaging Learning Communities That Equip Future Leaders

YWCA Virtual Programming

Our Youth Development Programs are now available online. We offer live-online fitness classes and storytime. Tutoring is available for students struggling with distance learning. Global Education is a weekly celebration for all of our families to enjoy. Families can connect with the staff through Class Dojo. Plus, we take the time to regularly call our 250+ families to engage them, provide a social connection in support of the child’s educational development, and determine their educational needs to help connect them to resources in the community. We also send out a bi-weekly newsletter with digital resources for our families.

Our Youth Department Team is available Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. via phone, email, and live sessions.

The Clubhouse

The YWCA South Florida Clubhouse provides a creative, safe, and free out-of-school learning environment where young people from underserved communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop new skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology.

We are part of the Clubhouse Network which is an international community of 100 Clubhouses located in 18 countries, providing youth with life-changing opportunities for 25 years.

The clubhouse at the YWCA offers a unique opportunity for students to learn 21st-century technology skills with our new esports lab to teach students coding, game development, and graphic design. The clubhouse also includes a professional-grade music studio.
