YWCA South Florida’s Court Care provides free, temporary childcare for children ages 6 months to 13 years old while their parent/legal guardian attend a domestic violence-related court proceeding or filing.
Our trained, qualified YWCA staff supervise children thanks to a partnership between the YWCA of Greater Miami-Dade, Inc. and the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Our Court Care centers provide children with a positive and nurturing atmosphere, families with support services, and both with an appropriate and responsive referral system should families have additional needs.
For information on the location and daycare center hours, visit the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida website.
We also offer KidSpace Child Care at the Broward County Central Courthouse. Open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Broward County KidSpace is open to children by referral only, through the Clerk of Courts, Domestic Violence Clerk.
