This training will explore how agencies can better serve and support the LGBTQ community. The workshop aims to broaden participants' understanding of the experiences and potential barriers impacting LGBTQ clients and staff. As well, outline why providing affirmative and supportive LGBTQ services is crucial to all members of a community. Participants will learn current best practices and strategies towards fostering healthy, safe, and inclusive environments.

This training counts towards the 10 hours of in-service training required by DCF for child care personnel.
